We are committed to the safety and well-being of everyone in our race community in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic. We have been following and will continue to follow the direction and recommendations of public health agencies and local authorities. At this time, we can confirm that the 2020 LIXIL IRONMAN 70.3 Centrair Chita Peninsula Japan cannot take place as planned on June 14, 2020. We are working diligently to secure venues and a new race date. We are committed to provide you with an update on your options by early May.

About the event
The only IRONMAN 70.3 race in Japan, located near Nagoya city, Japan’s fourth largest city, unfolds in Chita Peninsula in Aichi Prefecture (includes 3 cities, Chita, Tokoname, and Handa) surrounding Centrair International Airport.
The race course traverses Chita Peninsula with rich landscape spreading. Centrair International Airport will act as the hub of the event; Expo, Race briefing and Award Party will be held inside the airport terminal, offering a unique IRONMAN 70.3 experience for athletes and fans alike.
